I keep getting convergence problem using CSD18536KTT & LM5069-2. Was able to simulate the same circuit using other TI mosfets.
Request to assist.
Thanks,
Vinod

Hi Vinod,
Thanks for your interest in TI FETs. Can you please share your TINA-TI simulation with me? Some of our mid-voltage (40V - 100V) FETs use tabulated capacitor subcircuits to reflect the non-linear nature of the parasitic capacitances in the FET including the CSD18536KTT. Sometimes these models result in convergence issues in certain simulations. You might try adding a small gate resistor to see if that helps. Otherwise, I can try to modify the FET model to use fixed capacitance values to see if that resolves the issue. I will try this on your simulation if you can share it with me.
Thanks,
John Wallace
TI FET Applications
Hi John,
Apologies. I'm using CSD18540Q5B FET. Attaching the TINA simulation file.
Thanks,
Hi Vinod,
I'm getting an error when I try to open the .tsc file with TINA-TI. I tried both the earlier file and the one starting with 0317. I am going to send you a friend request thru this site and then you can put the simulation file into a zip file and attach to a private message to me. If that does not work then you can email it to me. I'll send you my email address in a private message.
Thanks,
John
Hi Vinod,
Following up to see if your issue has been resolved. Please let me know.
Thanks,
John
