Does BQ34110 requires discharge - charge cycle when it gets powered up to get proper battery percentage readings for LFP Batteries?
In our case we are using two 3.65V LFP Batteries in series. We have also implemented GPC Cycle and flashed .fs file into fuel gauge in order to get accurate readings as per battery characteristics.
But when power up the gauge, we are not getting accurate battery percentage value. we observed that once we perform discharge - charge cycle, after then we are getting accurate battery percentage.
I have followed all procedures and guidelines to generate GPC Cycle.
Is that correct behavior of BQ34110 fuel gauge? If not then what should i do now to get accurate battery percentage?
