Part Number: CSD18540Q5B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Hi,

I was trying to use CSD18540Q5BCSD18540Q5B TINA-TI Spice model but not able to view/open the model since it is a encrypted macro.

CSD18540Q5B TINA-TI Spice Model

I require an unencrypted spice model for the FET CSD18540Q5B. Request to assist

Thanks,

 Vinod

  • Hello Vinod,

Thanks for the inquiry. The TINA-TI model in the product folder is encrypted and there is not an easy way for me to unencrypt it. However, the PSpice model is unencrypted and can be opened with the WordPad or NotePad applications. It is the same model and can be easily imported into TINA-TI by creating a macro as shown in the app note at the link below. Because there are multiple subcircuits in the model, you will need to select the CSD18540Q5B subcircuit. Instead of using the default shape (a rectangle), you can search the library for NMOSE (uncheck show suggested shapes only). Then you can assign pins: 1 = D, 2 = G and 3 = S. After you create the macro, you can place it in your design. After placing, you can double click on the symbol and it will allow you to enter the macro and edit it if necessary.
