I am using BQ76952EVM with BQStudio.

I am trying to Enable LDO (REG1, REG 2) i.e in data memory REG12 config = dd and REG0 config =1; But I do not see do not see 3.3 of REG1 and REG2 output.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong. I have also tried SET_CFGUPDATE and EXIT_c=CFGUPDATE BUT IN VAIN.

I also need to update SPI Configuration to 0x60. but SPI Configuration is not available in BQStudio data memory settings.

Hi Nydhami,

Setting REG12 to 0xDD and REG0 to 0x1 should enable the LDOs and output 3.3V, so those settings look okay.

From this post, however, it is not clear exactly which steps you have/ have not taken in attempting to enable the LDOs and change communication from I2C to SPI. Because of this, I recommend reading through this previous post, where another user faced the same issues: (+) BQ76952EVM: Programming TI Eval board (BQ76952EVM) for making SPI communication compatible (where BQ76952 is default I2C) - Power management forum - Power management - TI E2E support forums.

Additionally, I recommend looking through the software development guide to ensure you are correctly changing register values and writing commands: BQ769x2 Software Development Guide (Rev. B) (ti.com).
