Front connect with Marvell 88e151x PHY
Back connect CAT5e cable
48V DC

How many ports will be supported and what is the power level needed for each port?

They only need the PD device of POE.

1 PORT，12.95W

PoE IEEE 802.3af (802.3at Type 1) Class 3 (nom. 48V DC)

Power consumption up to 12.95W (PoE class III)

Small size is better.

Hi Brian,

Is isolation needed and what is the output of DCDC converter? Will customer need primary or secondary regulation?

Others beyond the requirements are all not needed.

The output is not defined, they only want us to recommend a device now for them to have a look.

Hi Brian,

The device recommendation would be based on those considerations as our devices have slight differences which allows them to perform to the application. For class 3 power I would recommend TPS23753A or TPS23755/8.
