Hello,

My customer is considering using the TPS62871-Q1.

They want to use the I2C-less TPS62871-Q1 below, but these devices aren't out yet.

Can they use the devices with I2C connection on TI.com without connecting the I2C pins?

Please let us know if there are any expected problems when using TPS62871QWRXSRQ1 or TPS62871Y1QWRXSRQ1 without I2C connection.

    Hi, 

    Thank you for your enquiry.

    Yes, it is possible to order the I2C variant and use them without the I2C feature. This would work perfectly fine. Please make sure to connect the unused SCL and SDA pins to GND.
