BQ51020: Question about dropping output voltage

Part Number: BQ51020

Dear TI experts,

My customer made a product with BQ51020. and recently end customer asked something about the product.

1. when the charging status is going on about 5~10 days, charging voltage is down from 5V to 4.3V.

Is it normal operation?

they think about the possibility about the connection of AC pin and OUT pin, so the voltage flows through that way. What do you think about it?

2. if 4.3V output voltage is detected, they detach the battery from charger and attach again, 5V output voltage is detected again.

so, when 4.3V output voltage is detected, is 5.0V can be detected if EPT packet is sent from RX IC?

3. Do you have any history about the issue above from other customers?

I also have customer's report and schematic, I can share it privately. Please send me a friendship request if you need more information.

Best regards,

Chase
