Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TPS2000E and TPS2068E for their new products

At this moment, they are interested in TPS2000E/2068EDGNR and they have the following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1. Could you please send me DGNR (HVTSSOP) package dimensions, example board layout and example stencil design data?

Q2. When is TPS2000E/2068EDGNR (HVTSSOP) release timing?

Q3. Are the difference between TPS2000EDGNR and 2068EDGNR output current and current limit values only?

1, You can refer to the below EVM, they have the similar function, except for the EN.

2, I can find them in the TI.com, so I guess they should be released now.(But I am not sure what are the difference between T and P, let me loop Wanqi)

WY: Typically the dimensions are at the end of datasheet but we are seeing a glitch on this datasheet's internal system association. The Page 34 - 40 in this device datasheet will apply to TPS2000/2068EDGNR: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps2000c.pdf

Q2. When is TPS2000E/2068EDGNR (HVTSSOP) release timing?

WY: They are in APL now and expected to be RTMed in 4Q23 (the PTPS version part number is for prototype only). The prototype version device is the final silicon, the only difference will be on its top marking with the RTM silicon. If your customer has a specific target timeline for these devices for mass production, please do feel free to email me at wanqi-yao@ti.com so that we can follow up on more details offline.

Q3. Are the difference between TPS2000EDGNR and 2068EDGNR output current and current limit values only?

WY: Yes these two devices only differs on their suggested loading current. Please refer to Kuno's notes above for details.

TPS2000C datasheet shows 2 type of DGN package dimensions and foot pattern example.
One is DGN0008C and the other is DGN0008G.
Do you know which package information will be applied to TPS2000E/2068EDGNR?
