We have a customer that is using the above device.

Is there an alternative device, that has 'hiccup mode' current limiting ?

Hey Steve,

I would recommend the TPS7A2633DRVR this has a brickwall current limit which should look similar to the hiccup mode you are describing.

In section 7 of the datasheet it explains more about the current limit.
