BQ25619: PMID current with input voltage at VBUS

Hi, 

We want to use the PMID output to feed an external circuit. 

We understand that when external voltage is applied to VBUS, the device switches from Boost mode to charging mode. 

1- We want to know if is there any current limitation at the PMID output when the charger is connected to the VBUS input. 

2- In this case, the PMID will provide 5V, but instead of the boost, the PMID output is coming from the VBUS. Correct?

    Leonardo,

    1. There's no effective current limit for PMID in both charge mode and boost mode. The system design should make sure PMID will not be overloaded.

    2. In charge mode, PMID is connected to VBUS via Q1 RBFET.
