LP2985A: Reasons for dividing each characteristic of DS into New and Legacy.

Hi Support Team.

Checking the DS of LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB, the characteristics of the New Chip and Legacy Chip are different.
DS lists /M3 products as NewChip.
It was my first time using this description method, so I wondered if there was some special reason.
Is there any special meaning in describing the characteristics of Legacy and Newchip?

    Hi Yutaro,

    The M3 is a suffix designator for newer chip redesigns, fabricated on the latest TI process technology. Usually this means you will see equal or better performance with the M3 device, and it may also be cheaper.
