Hello Chethan,

Thank you for reaching out to our team. While I am excited to say that our team is working on a new PD3.1 solution that will be capable of negotiating the full 240W EPR power range, unfortunately it will not be available until next year.

What is the end equipment you are designing this for? Are you able to start with a solution for 100W today, and transition to 140W once this new device is available?

Hi the end equipment is a Portable telecom Base station, and overall power consumption of this product is >120W, so 100W solution wont work, so in that case we will go ahead with non-type-C Power solution for now and design an accessory Type-C solution and provide to our customers later point in time but this will have to be used externally though.
