LMR14050: Creating a buck converter to handle an automotive 12v connection to 5v.

Hi will this step down converter be enough to handle an automotive 12v connection and bring it down to 5v@5 amps? It will be powering a ESP32/Arduino Dev Kit.

Yes, this device can step down 12V to 5V @ 5A. Please see section 9 in the data sheet along with WEBENCH for a reference design to achieve your requirements. You can also use the dedicated EVM. Please enter your specific application requirements for WEBENCH

Hi Ryan, the web bench url did not work. I got the web bench to work in general, what does the Q1 stand for in the LMR product line?
