Hi team,

We plan to incorporate tusb542 and tusb322i into the circuit and use the UFP to mount a USB-C connector from a USB3.1Gen1 device to a device as an IF.
Are there any processes that these devices need to go through for compliance testing?
Also, to what extent do these devices affect the compliance test?

Ryu:

First you need to set test port to compliance test mode.

For TUSB542, it can compensate max 9db loss at RX side and 6db loss at TX side. But the real affect is depends on the placement of TUSB542.

Ryu:

TUSB322i is only for CC communication, not for USB high speed signal.
