TPS274160: Problem with CS pin pull-up

Hi Dear,

As shown in the figure，referring to the TPS274160EVM evaluation board, the CS pin is connected to a pull-up resistor. What is the function of the pull-up resistor? However, in the datasheet of TPS274160, the typical application diagram does not show the pull-up resistor, May I ask if the pull-up resistance of the CS pin is necessary？
