LM51521-Q1: about bypass operation

Hello team,

 

Can I ask a question about bypass operation of LM51521-Q1?

 

The datasheet specifies that the bypass operation of LM51521-Q1 is disabled.

However, if VIN is greater than VOUT in LM51521-Q1 application, will the current (Iout) still flow through the body diode of MOSFET to Load?

    Hi Sam,

    Thank you for using E2E forums, regarding your question Bypass mode is when the HS FET is turned on 100% when Vsupply is bigger than Vout, in LM51521 this mode is disabled so when the Vin is bigger than Vout they will just switch off the HS FET and body diode to output load as you said.
