HD3SS3220: USB-C multiplexer is not switching when USB-C connection is reversed.

Part Number: HD3SS3220

The HD3SS3220IRNHT when connected to a USB-C thumb drives only works at super-speed in one orientation.

CC1 is a pulse train, 24ms high, 54ms low. Peak voltage is 0.56V

CC2 is a pulse train, 24ms high, 54ms low. Peak voltage is 4.80V

CC1 and CC2 swap voltage levels when the cable is flipped.

When no thumb drive is present both CC1 and CC2 pulse at 4.80V

Port pin is floating

ENn_MUX is grounded

ENn_CC transitions from high to low about 10us after power up.

The DIR pin is always high (200K pullup to 3.3V)

The I2C interface is not being used.

3.3V powers up before 5V.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
