Dear Sir

May I ask if the SYS function is not required? BQ25890 only charges the battery. Can the two capacitors of C5 C6 not require patch mounting?

    Hi Gabriel, 

    Even if there is no plan to connect a load at SYS in the design output capacitance with a minimum value of 20 uF is still required. The capacitors are still required because SYS pin is the output of the buck converter.
