Hello,
My customer is asking me if the device is damaged when the output pin is short to GND.
Does this device have any protection for output to GND short case?
Regards,
Oba

Hi Oba,
We have a Functional Safety Information for the UCC27531-Q1, which is an extremely similar device to the UCC27532-Q1 (difference is input structure of TTL vs. CMOS, but all other relevant parameters should be same). According to Table 4-2, there is potential for device damage if the output pins are shorted to GND.
Thanks,
Rubas
