When configured for twoTPS7H4001 devices in parallel and using the internal clock, the SYNC2 pin of the master clocking device is not used.
Can the SYNC2 pin of the master be connected directly to ground or should it be left floating?

Hey Mark,
It can be left floating or connected with a 10k to ground.
I would not suggest directly grounding it.
Thanks,
Daniel
Thanks Daniel.
I was worried that was the case. The board design already has SYNC2 tied directly to ground. Will this cause damage or clock performance issues?
Hey Mark,
This will cause damage to the device as it will short internal circuitry.
You may just have to lift/remove the pin
Thanks,
Daniel
