LM76005: LM76005 Vout with 25V,and Vin no power supply,how LM76005 perform?

Hi,

The LM76005 is a buck converter. For both buck and boost topologies, there has to be a Vin for there to be a Vout.

I want to know what will happen in this situation:Vout with 25V,and Vin no power supply.

Will it damage LM76005?

But Vin is floating.There is no load on Vin.

So,there will not be reverse current.

A situation I did not mentioned: 1.When Vout setting is low than battery voltage;2.When Vout setting is high than battery voltage;

What will happen to these two conditions?

And I want to know how the OV/UV Detector of FB worked.

There is no description about this in datasheet.

Internal circuitry is Intellectual Property so I cannot share those details.

We use LM76005 as a charging ciruit for battery.

And I want to konw is there any difference of performance about Diode emulation and FPWM mode under these conditions:1.When Vout setting is low than battery voltage;2.When Vout setting is high than battery voltage;

I just want to understand how it works,not the circuit details.

No,I want to confirm if any difference between these two mode in our use case:Vout is high than setting voltage.
