How do you best implement opto feedback with UC2825?

    Opto feedback for UC2825 is the same as any general purpose PWM. The main difference is that all three terminals of the PWM error amp are made accessible. If you download TI Power Stage Designer, there is a control loop design tool included. Based on the topology choice and operating mode (voltage mode or current mode control), a compensator type is selected (Type 1, 2,3, etc) and choices for isolated opto/TL431 feedback configurations are presented. Check it out and see if you can put a full schematic together that at least shows all the correct component placeholders. TI Power Stage Designer is a simple, free, easy to use sim tool that is not based on any particular controller.
