LMZ14201H buck-boost design

We currently have a design that uses an LMZ14201 to generate -5V. 

System changes are driving us to need -12V or -15V instead.

Can we replace the LMZ14201 with an LMZ14201H, and change some component values to generate -15V

Vin is +18V to +32V.

Output current is low, approx 0.2A.

Is what we suggest possible.

    Hi Jim,

    The LMZ14201H is capable of an inverting buck boost design. However, with Vin = 32V and Vout = -15V, the total voltage over the device will be 47V which violates the absolute maximum voltage of the device listed in the datasheet. Your design as stated is not possible because it will violate the absolute maximum ratings of the device. A part rated for greater than 47V, such as the LMR36510 (65Vin https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lmr36510.pdf), will be required.
