The customer wants to use LMR36506-Q1.

Is it available for ASIL B grade?

    Hi,

    LMR36506-Q1 is functional safety capable and can be used to meet a system level ASIL requirement, but does not necessarily guarantee a system level ASIL rating will be met. To reach a desired system level ASIL rating the overall functional safety of the system will have to be evaluated.
    In other words to achieve an system level ASIL-B rating the supervisor itself does not have to be ASIL-B rated. ASIL-B can be reached using components of varying ASIL ratings so long as the overall system's functional safety reaches the requirements of a system level ASIL-B rating.
