TLV62130: Discharge from output to input

Hi Team,

currently we are using TLV62130 part. As per our application there will be a voltage generated on the Vout pin when there is no vin. We just want to confirm whether the diode present internally is reverse path blocking supported or not.

As per datasheet i am seeing a 2 NMOS which will allow the reverse current flow. Pls let us know whether this is correct or not.

Hi Sai!
When you add a voltage in Vout, Vin will be charged according to the diode of high side MOSFET's body diode. You'd better let the device be disabled. May I know why customer has such a special application?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Currently the EN is pulled up vin pin. So we are not sure whether this will cause any false enabling of the switcher. The application here is to have a super cap capacitor backup for o/p of the switcher rail when ever there is a power failure at the input of the switcher.
