TPS704: PCN 20230802001.1 Need a copy!

Part Number: TPS704

Hello folks... I don't want to waste anybody's time here, but TI Customer Support sent me to E2E forums to ask my 'simple' question - can someone tell me where to go to retrieve a copy of the subject TI PCN? (Or ANY PCN for that matter?!) This should NOT be that difficult, but I've struck out on locating  where PCN's are stored on the vast TI website.

Thank you in advance for any good suggestions or directions!

  • James,

We don't really keep all our PCN's in a repository for outside TI access. You will have to request us and we can provide it to you.

Please email me prakash@ti.com and I can send you an attachment.

    Thanks,

    Prakash L

  • Good morning, Prakash!

Thank you very much for your response this morning to my inquiry on the E2E Power Management Forum (last night)!

I think I am most grateful to learn that TI doesn’t provide a repository of PCN/PDNs on your website, for on-demand, customer access.  I think I tried all of the typical locations and pages where those would typically reside, and it was very frustrating not having ‘success’  Frowning2   Anyway, I’m grateful for your response on the E2E forum (something I wasn’t sure was going to work – with so many topics being input by your many customers), and I will try to increase my use of it in the future!

So, I’d better formally request a copy of the subject PCN – 20230802001.1 – regarding changes to mold and mount compounds for a variety of TI devices.

May I also ask you for your recommendation for future PCN retrievals?  Should I/we submit a similar request to one of the E2E forums, or dare I ask – can I send you a direct e-mail requesting a copy?  Wink

Thank you in advance for your feedback and continued support of our use of TI products!

     Sincerely,

     Jim Sobestanovich (Sobe)
