LMR54410: Electrical load CC and CR mode

Part Number: LMR54410

Hi team,

My customer uses an electronic load test LMR54410 and they wonder why the electrical load in CC mode does not drop to 0A when the power is turned on and the induced current falls to 0A when in CR mode?

What model do you usually recommend for testing? Thanks!

CC mode: Vout=5V, Iout=1A

CR mode: Vout=5V, 5ohm

  • Hi Ivy,

CC mode will directly add a 1A current to the load end, so there is already 1A at the load end during the startup process. We generally use this mode to measure. The waveforms of the two modes should be consistent in steady state. Thanks.
