I have a new small circuit board design that contains eight TPS26624. The ILIM of each TPS26624 is around 330mA, as shown in the diagram below. The load for each TPS26624 is mainly 24V sensors and solenoid valves with 20mA coil current. This circuit does not need reverse input polarity protection; however, it needs reverse output polarity protection. In order to achieve the expected functionality with the minimum number of components, please advise if it is possible to:
- Directly connect the RTN signal to the system ground plane, and have the 8 TPS26624 share the same ULVO and OVP setting resistors?
- Omit input and output capacitors?
