TLV62569: When does Fsw change?

Hello team,

  1. Is the condition for TLV62596 to go to power save mode, when minimum inductor current goes 0A, is this correct?
  2. Does Fsw change before going to power save mode? (Assume that the load current is fixed)
     I am asking this because on the pspice, the Fsw has been unsatable when Iload =0.4A, but inductor current not going 0A.

It will be stable when load current is other than 0.3A or 0.2A, so I hope this behaivor is just on PSpice, and not in real life.

    Yes, The device automatically enters Power Save Mode to improve efficiency at light load when the inductor current becomes discontinuous. 

    Does Fsw change before going to power save mode? (Assume that the load current is fixed)

    As explained in the datasheet, Based on the VIN/VOUT ratio, a simple circuit sets the required off time for the low-side MOSFET. The switching frequency is relatively constant regardless of the variation of input voltage, output voltage, and load current.

    I'm not sure of the pspice results. I recommend to use datasheet as your reference. What is the frequency variation you see?
