TPS54824: EN pin deglitch filter

Hi TI experts,

In our design, there is an uncontrollable high pulse (3.3V) applied to EN pin before normal power up sequence starts.

The pulse width is about ~10ns. Is there any deglitch filter inside TPS54824 EN pin which can filter this pulse? Will this pulse trigger TPS54824 switching?

Hi Neo,

Is the VIN above the typ UVLO rising threshold of 4.1V? If it is below that when the EN glitch happens, the device will not start any switching. In any case, the EN high to switching delay is about 135us so it is unlikely you will see any switching with a such a small pulse width but it would be better if you can just filter out the EN spike using an external filter from EN to GND.

Hi Amod,

Yes, VIN is above UVLO 4.1V when EN glitch occurs.

Since there is typ 135us debounce time, we should be ok. Thanks.
