Dear Sir/Madam,

about MC33063ADR under PCN# 20230417002.1,
Our customer, Sharp Malaysia, compared the output waveform of New Fab(RFAB) Sample and current Fab.
(PCN Samples provided from TI Malaysia Sales as below.

Customer PO No.: 20230417002SRF0002
Sales Order No.: 1020405791)

And they found the output noise level become higher (40% higher), which they can not approve RFAB IC.
I attached customer report as well.

May I know if any difference current：SFAB & New：RFAB in output waveform portion?

Hello Yu,

Thank you for the customer report. It seems that the new silicon switches less often compared to the old material. Would it be possible to get a measurement of the switch node of both material?

I will request the new material as well for the lab in parallel.

We'd like to look at measurements at the switch node, so indeed at the red arrow. It would be ever better if you could provide us with measurements at the crossed arrow as well.

Hello Jae Ho Yu,

Thank you very much for the measurements. The switching frequency on the PCN unit seems to be somewhat lower compared to the already existing material. If the timing capacitor is updated, the frequency should increase again.

→ Except TI PCN letter, is there any supporting documents to show it?
Since TI Sales does not provide PCN sample anymore, customer can not evaluate it.
They needs any supporting documents.
