BQ34Z100-G1: change the configuration/parameter in field

Hi TI team

Due to some cases, we have to change the load mode and load select in field. We plan to change these value via a I2C peripheral of MCU. Appreciate if you could tell us if there is any potential risks, or any more action(calibration or learn cycle) should be done after we change these value.

    Hello,

    At the beginning of a discharge, the gauge will stablish the amount of available capacity based on load (determined by load select and load mode) and also based on temperature. Assuming the correct load mode and select are chosen for the load profile, good gauging results should be expected. 

    To change these parameters in the field, they will need to be unsealed as these are data flash (DF) parameters. We do not recommend to have DF parameters unsealed.
