i have been using BQ25620EVM for my application but i need to know weather it will show battery % if i interfaced it with microcontroller. and as my application is i need to connect solar panel to charger my battery and i want to monitor the battery status also so that i can keep track of when my battery is about to die. and i also need to know the health of the battery. so i can keep track of that as well. do suggest me what chips is suitable for my application and while recommending please enlighten me on the difference between "battery charger , battery monitor and fuel gauge". 

and does battery monitor chip also does the charging for example BQ76952?

    Hi,

    The chargers are essentially power supplies with complex state machines and analog feedback loops while the gauges are micro-controllers using ADCs and digital logic. The chargers usually only charge batteries, but do not report battery capacity.

    The BQ75952 is battery monitor & protector. It does not charge battery. It is ok to use a charger and a battery monitor & protector together.

    This is charger support. Please submit another thread for battery monitor/gauge suggestions.
