What are all the differences between TPS281C30A and TPS281C30B? Tradeoffs?

Any cost differences?

How is the difference in current limit adjusted between the devices ie. what makes this difference?

    Hello, 

    There are no cost differences. 

    The difference lies in the current limit range and trim which results in a difference in accuracy at the same current limits. 

    For example, while you can set a current limit of 4A using both the A and B versions of the device, a TPS281C30A will give you +/-10% accuracy while a TPS281C30B will provide closer to a +/-15% accuracy.
