A recent circuit card failure has been traced to P/N 5962R9951707VZA and the failure analysis lab has requested the device schematic to support the investigation into the device failure. We reviewed the simplified schematic in Figure 8-2 of TI's datasheet, but it doesn't seem to have the full details necessary to support the failure analysis.
Our failure analysis team performed curve tracing on the device and identified a 10 kOhm resistance between the Vout and Sense/Output pins. Assuming the Sense pin is directly connected to the Vout pin, the fact we're seeing a 10kOhm resistance doesn't match up with the simplified schematic.
Can you please provide the detailed/complete schematic for the device? This would be a big help for us as we continue to evaluate this failure.
