BQ76952: Enable CHG and DSG FETs on startup

I am using the BQ76952 for a BMS without using an external MCU.

I would like to enable the CHG and DSG FETs on startup when the batteries are connected as I will have no other way to enable them.

I have used the above post and used the DFETOFF pin to disable the FETs but have not being able to to enable them.

Is there any solution for this?

    Hello Sean,

    The FETs need to be enabled in OTP, by setting Settings:Manufacturing:Mfg Status Init[FET_EN] bit to one. If this bit is not set in the OTP, then you will not be able to have FETs on without an MCU. After OTP has been programmed, then your device could operate autonomously.
