TPS54240EVM-VSON: CE/EU Declaration of Conformity (aka EU DoC) required

You seem to indicate the product is ROHS compliant, and that is great but it does not resolve the issue and raises concerns.

We need the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity.I must explain the reason behind this:

When the manufacturer applies CE to their products they have the obligation to draw the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity. This is a legal obligation, expressed in all the CE directives.

Equally, Mouser USA as the importer when selling the product on behalf of TI in the EU, have the obligation to hold in our records a copy of TI's CE/EU Declaration of Conformity - Hence the request here for the CE/EU DoC.

Again, these obligations (on the manufacturer of a CE-marked product and the importer) are dedicated by the CE Directives for all products that are CE-marked.

In other words, it is illegal for T.I. to apply CE to a product without having the technical file and the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity supporting the CE mark.

For more information you can refer to the CE directives themselves - The legal obligations put on the manufacturer  (and the importer) with regards to the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity are explained in all the CE Directive, including the ROHS 2011/65/EU - you can refer to Article 7.c of the ROHS Directive 2011/65/EU (Access HERE) 

These obligations are also explained in great length in the EU Blue Guide (The general guidance on CE issued by the European Commission) access HERE

EU Declarations of Conformity are mandatory for all products the manufacturer decides to CE-mark.

In addition, and also explained in the CE Directives and the EU Blue guide, the manufacturer (and the importer) must keep the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity for 10 years after the last sale.

As T.I. CE mark the product TPS54240EVM-VSON, we need T.I. to draw and provide the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity.

Alternatively, if T.I. does not have the evidence to support the CE mark, T.I. would need to stop applying CE to this product.

I am sorry, this is not good to use for  TPS54240EVM-VSON. The DoC you shared is for TPS54240EVM-605 only, it does not mention TPS54240EVM-VSON.

We need this document for  TPS54240EVM-VSON.

If you do not have the EU DoC in file for  TPS54240EVM-VSON, I believe you need to liaise with your compliance team for them to issue it.

OK - to be clear, this DoC is not just "for Mouser", it is a mandatory legal requirement for T.I so it is for T.I's too.

New product release take about 2 weeks, this is an already released EVM ,some additional work need ,like I request update information is system and propose a new DOC request. which is not a normal request, will take time to get approved. I am tracking and following, Please allow me one more week ,thank you for understanding.
