Hi Shawn,
Thanks for reaching out. The current sense is implemented a little differently in this device.
If you take a look at section 9.3.6 and 9.3.7 of the datasheet, the implementation is explained.

As you can see, if makes use of comparators, triangular signals which are added to the measured CS input.
A little side note: the value for Vcsth is labelled a little bit differently in the datasheet, as it's called Vclth there.
For the calculation of the current limit, I can refer you to equation (10) of the datasheet.
Thank you and best regards,
Bryan
Bryan,
OK, then what value is used for the Acs variable in the control loop equations in table 5-1 on page 17 of the applications note on how to design a flyback with the LM5155?
How to Design an Isolated Flyback Using LM5155 (Rev. A)

Hi Shawn,
Since there's no amplification, this value would be 1.
Thank you and best regards,
Bryan
Cool! Might be good to update the applications note with that information as well as the value for Gcomp. The value for Gcomp is buried in the block diagram on the datasheet...but is not mentioned anywhere else...and not given in the apps note either.
