Hi team,
Is customer able to add diodes to prevent below?
1. Reverse current blocking: Is it ok to add diode to prevent it?
2. Reverse polarity: Is it ok to add Schottky on input? If it works, Vin would be < -0.3V.
BEst regards,
Hayashi

Hi Hayashi San,
1. Diodes can be used for reverse current blocking.
2. No, that will violate the abs minimum, and I suggest you use back-to-back FET configuration for reverse polarity protection.
You can use integrated solutions like 25947. They also have back-to-back FET configuration which is required for reverse polarity and also have reverse current blocking.
