LM5046: Thermal issues with PWMs at 1 MHz!

Part Number: LM5046

Hi All,

I'm using LM5046 for a custom application which involves running the oscillator at ~2MHz (RT Resistor = 4.7K), hence the PWMs at 1 MHz. With this, I have connected the output of LM5046 (LO1/HO1, LO2/HO2) to the gate driver to drive FETs. When the FETs switch, the LM5046 heats a lot (I had to stop the operation in order to avoid thermal runaway), It's strange as I already have a gate driver to supply current to the FETs, but the LM5046 is the one getting hot. Is there any possible reason for this? Can it be due to running it at 1 MHz?

Best Regards
