Hi team,

Once it operates pulse skip mode, could we estimate how much pulse will be skipped?

Datasheet says error amplifier outupt clamps if IOUT decrease to surtain level. Then inductor current will be reach zero. When will this error amplifier clamp is released to normal mode and load voltage is regulated?

Hi Ochi,

It is hard to estimate how much pulse will be skipped.

The amplifier low clamp value is 0.6V typical.

When the amplifier reaches 0.6V typical, it starts to extend the off time.

To correct the saying, load voltage is always regulated.

Hi Ochi,

The trigger point is defined by the compensation value.

When the device detects the compensation reaches 0.6V typically and it will start to expend the off time.

The point is smooth and enter point is the quit point.
