I am using BQ40Z50-R3. I am trying to use short circuit protection for my battery. If short circuit is detected I wanted to try to recover it first but if it fails to recover , set Permanent Fail flag ASCD and shout down or stop trying to recover it.
my configuration is:
[ASCDL] bit in the Enabled PF B register is set
Enabled PF B = 0x80
threshold1 = 0x77
threshold2 = 0xE7
recovery time= 5 sec
latch limit =7
reset time =15 sec
with this setting I could not get my PF flag set. the battery keeps trying to recover indefinitely.
