TPS2372: How to implement Non standard 120W/Class 8 POE++ PD using TPS2372/TPS2373

We are trying to implement a Non-standard 120W Class 8 Powered device. Is there a reference design or some design resource other than the Video shared below.

How to implement LLDP with TPS2372 to negotiate Higher power. Is this required to be handled or MCU or does auto-class of TPS2372 automatically ask for highest power available from PSE?

Any design resource or schematics which will help us implement LLDP is deeply appreciated.

Hi Jithin,

You can either do dual-PD using TPS2372 TPS2372-4's internal hotswap may not be able to support 120 W alone. The attached document may help. Beyond BT High-Power PoE Solution using the TPS23880 and TPS2372-4_slva986.pdf

For non-standard design, TPS2379 could be used here. PMP7499 (https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP7499) is an example of 60W. Besides, you may need to reduce the current sensing resistor on the PSE side to make the PSE won't do power cut too. It will be easier if you use non-standard PSE (or passive injector) with sufficient power rating meanwhile without power limiting at 90W or lower.
