In TPS65145 IC , we need 16V at output of positive charge pump. Our input is 8.5V. We can get it in Doubler mode and Tripler mode. We have used in Tripler mode and using a feedback we got our required output voltage. There we have seen some burning . Is there any stress created on internal elements if we do this way ? Or in which mode (doubler or tripler ) , the stress is less on internal elements ? There is no spice model also to check in simulation . So we kindly request you to give a clarity on this .
