LP5030: Reset Occurring at +1kV Due to Surge Test

The initial setting register value was 0x1c40, but when the surge(+1kV) is applied, the LED connected to LP5030 is turned off, the register value is changed to 0x3c00, and the Led operation connected to LP5030 is not working. Is there a circuit countermeasure.

There is no problem with the operation of -1 kV.

The circuit configuration is as above.

Please give me a lot of advice from experts.

Thank you for your reply.
We applied +1kV to L-N on the 24V power line. As mentioned above, there is no change of internal register at -1kV under the same conditions.

Hi Lee,

I got it but I think it should be the right reaction (reset) for our device while suffering from ESD voltage. Please give me some time to discuss about this question with our expert to see if we can figure out a workaround. I will get back to you ASAP.
