    Thank you John.  100V HBM means it is class zero and needs special handling.  I'm wondering if the part would have been tested at 250V or above to verify that it is in fact class zero?  If it passes at 250V it is not class zero and we would not require special handling.   As I understand the test, HBM testing requires selecting discrete test voltages and if you do not choose a tight resolution of voltage levels, you may not really know when it fails.  Please comment.

    Hi Joseph,

    The testing was done some time ago. We have decided to redo the ESD testing with new samples. The samples have been ordered but it usually takes a few days to receive them and then a couple more days for the testing. I communicated this to Kannan who had forwarded me your email. I am going to close this thread and we can communicate via regular email as we move forward with the testing.
