Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, BQEVSW
Hello,
I would like to obtain a senc file for an existing Chem ID 2459 for this gauge.
Can you please send this or advise on who to contact?
Thanks,
Carl.

Hi Carl,
On the bqStudio product page below, there is a chemistry updater under Additional Resources. Downloading this should allow you to get the necessary files for ChemID 2459.

Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the reply.
I've installed the chemistry updater 1064 but i can only see *.chem files.
With this particular gauge, the chemistry cannot be written directly but relies on a *.senc file already having the correct chem ID.
I believe that our current *.senc file can be sent to TI to have the chem ID updated but I thought that TI would be able to send us a default *.senc with ID2459 also?
Regards,
Carl.
Hi Carl,
Can you please tell me if you are using bqStudio or the bqEVSW for this process?

Hi Carl,
I believe that if a chemID that isn't listed below in the Multiple Chemistry Software file is needed, you will need to upgrade to a gauge that has that chemID available. Recommendations can be given if wanted.

Hi Anthony,
Unfortunately this gauge has already been in a product for more than 10 years, only needing this update due to a required cell change.
We're not in a position to be able to re-design the battery due to time scales along with our customer potentially running out of product.
Can you please find out or give me a contact name to see if we can have an existing *.senc file updated for us?
Thanks,
Carl.
Hi Carl,
I have received outside council regarding this topic and do not believe that it is something we can do. Regarding the required cell change, is it possible to change it to one that would match one of the existing .senc files?
