Team,
what's the best way to find the common mode impedance to enter in the excel calculation sheet?
Does customer need to do a simulation or is there a simpler way?
Best regards

Hi Franziskus,
I assume you're asking about finding the common-mode (CM) impedance of the CM choke. The best way is to measure it directly. Alternatively, we can derive a behavioral (equivalent circuit) model based on the impedance curve in the choke datasheet. The model parameters can then be entered in the quickstart calculator.
I'll send you a PPT file with more info on this.

Tim
