HI Team,

customer is struggling connecting to the EVM.

it seems that the GUI does not recognize the USB2ANY device ( or at least they cannot establish the communication between EVM and GUI ).

Have you encountered this issue before?

How can it be solved and what info do you need in order to provide guidance?

Hi Jared,

no error but the GUI only shows a red bar and does not allow for connection.

Hi Stefan,

It's because the GUI will create a temp file at its location when it starts running, but this GUI could not have the right permission to create this file. Please try to uninstall it and reinstall it in other directory.

Hi Stefan,

Please follow the below instruction to debug the GUI and make sure it's right. Then, you can configure EVM as you want.

1. Connect USB2ANY to EVM.

2. Run the Ruri.exe and click on the "Connect to USB2ANY" button.

3. Write 1 to "Num bytes to Write/Read", Click on the "Read" button, if you can get the write data from "00", it means there is nothing worng.

Then, you can configure EVM as you want.
