UCC28730: Faster start by using Rstr

Hi team,

My custmer want to make the start up time shorter for UCC28730. I understand that one way is to make Cvdd smaller, but it will lead to high Vdd ripple. 
So, I was wondering if I can connect Cvdd and bus voltage via Rstr just like UCC28700 and make the Cvdd charge current larger. Can we don't need JFET HV start up feature, can we implement Rstr for UCC28730?

    Hi Ohashi-San,

    Thank you for the query on UCC28730.

    Leaving thr HV pin open is not recommended although the configuration which you showed will work. In such a configuration it is better to use UCC28700. HV pin is prone to high frequency noise when left open which can cause improper functioning of the device.
